Dr. Gloria Aidoo-Frimpong is an assistant professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is a health equity scholar and a socio-behavioral researcher with expertise in HIV/AIDS prevention, immigrant and refugee health, reproductive and sexual health, and global health. Her research interests are multifaceted, encompassing a deep commitment to understanding and addressing HIV risk, intersectional stigma, social vulnerability, and barriers to accessing HIV and sexual health services. Dr. Aidoo-Frimpong’s research philosophy is rooted in community involvement, technology integration, and collaboration, emphasizing the strengths and expertise of the communities she serves through community-based participatory and community-engaged methods.
