Jesse Clark

Jesse Clark, MD, MSc is Associate Professor-in-Residence in UCLA’s Geffen School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, and Medical Director of UCLA’s Vine Street Clinic. Working primarily in Lima, Peru and Los Angeles, California, his research addresses the application of new HIV prevention technologies to the social and sexual networks of MSM and TW in the Americas.

Specific projects have explored the use of Peruvian TW social networks to support PrEP uptake and adherence, the use of nucleic acid testing for gonorrhea and chlamydia to interrupt HIV/STI transmission in high-risk sexual networks of MSM and TW, and partner management strategies for integrated HIV/STI prevention.
