Target Audience: The intended audience for the 2018 HPTN South American Regional Meeting includes South American Clinical Trial Units (CTUs)/Clinical Research Sites (CRS) staff participating in HPTN 083 and HVTN 704/HPTN 085; Principal Investigators/IORs; CRS key study staff (study coordinators, study clinicians/nurses, laboratory representative, pharmacists, and community staff/staff responsible for community engagement & cohort recruitment and retention). Additional participants will include the HPTN leadership, invited speakers, and sponsors/NIH. For illustrative purposes, the site teams may be comprised of the following staff (which is also dependent on your CTU/CTS structure):

  • PI of CTU
  • IOR of CRS
  • One study coordinator per CRS
  • One investigator per CRS
  • One pharmacist per CRS
  • One laboratory technician per CRS
  • One community member per CRS

Audiencia Esperada: Esperamos que las persona que participen en la Reunión Regional de la Red de Estudios para la Prevención del VIH sean de las Unidades de Estudios Clínicos (CTU), Clínicas de Estudios de Investigación (CRS), personal de la clinica que estén participando en lose studios HPTN 083 y HVTN 704/HPTN 085, Investigadores Principales/Investigador de Oficial (PIs/IORs), otro personal de la clinica clave (incluyendo los coordinadores de los estudios, enfermeros, representantes de laborartorio, farmaceuticos, representantes del envolvimiento comunitario y de reclutar y manterner los cohortes).  Enre otros participantes se encuentran patrocinadores/NIH, líderes de HPTN y presentadores invitados. Como ejemplo, el equipo de la clínica puede incluir las siguientes personas:

  • Investigador Principal de la Unidad de Estudios Clínicos (CTU PI)
  • Investigador Oficial de la Clínica de Estudios de Investigación (CRS IOR)
  • 1 Coordinador del Estudio
  • 1 Investigador por Clínica (CRS)
  • 1 Farmaceútico por Clínica (CRS)
  • 1 Técnico de Laboratorio por Clínica
  • 1 Representante de la Comunidad por Clínica
