Millicent Atujuna, PhD is a social behavioural scientist and social behavioural division lead at the Desmond Tutu Health Foundation (DTHF). She is a sociologist/population scientist with a research focus on social and behavioural issues relating to HIV prevention (including bio-medical HIV prevention) and treatment. Although Dr. Atujuna has worked with different HIV priority populations, her research interest is in adolescent girls and boys. Methodologically, Dr. Atujuna has experience that spans across both qualitative and quantitative methods and more recently, in the development and testing of bio-behavioural interventions.
